In Defense Of Bald Men

Been pathetically terrified of making this move, but finally, today I am bald. Went to the barber and asked him to take the rest off (not Kojak, but pretty tightly buzzed). The fear was pumping hard, reminding me of those anxious few seconds in eighth grade when I realized Jen Edwards was dumping me.

The haircut fear lasted ten minutes. Then the barber looked at me and said, "You don't need to ever get a haircut again. Go buy a buzzer. Seeya."

The summer is halfway over. Go do something you're scared of.

Brad,

Congratulations! Bald is SEXY. Just one bit of advice: always wear sunscreen. :)

Now, what is it that scares me? Hmmmmm . . . . I'll figure it out, do it, and let you know how it goes.

Brad, I've been hanging in there with the thinning hair for decades (at 17 years of marriage, my wife expected it to be long gone by now). Definitely listen to Jessica - where sunscreen or a hat. I wore a hat on our vacation to the Outer Banks, even wave riding in the ocean with my son, and it paid off. No sunburn scalp.

Bald is bold. That barber sounds like a cool guy.

Welcome to the club!

AND just imagine how much you're save on Hair care products, I haven't had to buy Shampoo, Conditioner, Gel or a new brush in over 15 years!

Sunscreen, though is a good tip, the last thing you want is sun-poisoning on the top of your head, it hurst and it's just not pretty...
